Gypsophila Church Wedding – Agia Mavra

Gypsophila is a simple but pretty flower perfect for your wedding flowers in Lefkada. Also known as Baby’s breath, it has always be used throughout the floral world as a filler bloom and appeared in almost every bouquet throughout the years, but in the last year or so, it has made a massive comeback as a wedding flower and is now very much the main attraction!

Vicky and Gregori’s wedding took place at Agia Mavra church inside the castle of Lefkada with the door decorated with a floral arch and the entranceway lined with lanterns. We created the bride a full bouquet of gypsophila which was as light and airy as a cloud. The koumbara wore a gypsophila wrist corsage and the groom a matching boutoniere.

Paired with another flower or colour, or left simply on its own, baby’s breath makes such an impact for your wedding day.

The wedding tables at Ionian Blue Spa Resort were decorated with gypsophila centre pieces and glass candles.
